PADI Divemaster
Would you like to be a leader in the diving industry? Would you like to be recognized as a diving professional? If you answered yes, then the PADI Divemaster Course at Texas Dive Center is for you. The PADI Divemaster Course is a prerequisite for those wishing to earn the PADI Assistant Instructor and PADI Open Water SCUBA Instructor ratings.
Qualifications
To enroll in the PADI Divemaster Course you must meet the following requirements:
- At least 18 years old
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
(or equivalent from another training organization)
- PADI Rescue Diver
(or equivalent from another training organization)
- Current Emergency Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR)
(or equivalent from another training organization)
- Cleared for diving by a physician
- Logged at least 40 dives
What You Will learn
You will learn leadership skill through both classroom and independent study. You complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems. You will learn to help others improve their scuba diving skills. You will put this knowledge into action through a structured internship or series of practical training exercises.
Diving Equipment You Will Need
Each Diver needs a complete set of Scuba Equipment. Texas Dive Center carries a full line of rental equipment as well as scuba gear from premier manufacturers.
